Mr. Struck is a Geological Engineer, with 25 years of experience in mining operations, operational and corporate management, mine engineering and development, and involvement in acquisitions, evaluations and feasibility studies. He has significant expertise in gold and platinum group metal exploration in Canada and the USA, and permitting exploration and development programs with State and Federal agencies in both Montana and Idaho. Mr. Struck has in-depth knowledge of Premium’s Buffalo Gulch and Friday-Petsite properties from serving as the Project Engineer with Idaho Gold Corporation; Supervisor – Exploration Properties with Bema Gold Corporation and as VP and Chief Operations Officer with Idaho Consolidated Metals Corporation. He developed and permitted the Champagne Mine, an open-pit, heap leach gold and silver mine in Idaho, for Bema. The mine earned Bema the “Award for Excellence in Reclamation” in 1996, from the Idaho Interagency Reclamation Awards Committee. Mr. Struck was also involved in the exploration of the Buffalo Gulch project and helped develop and permit the project for production. He was also directly involved in the preparation of the original Plan of Operations for the Buffalo Gulch Mine. Mr. Struck serves as a Director for Adrianna Resources Inc.
Mr. Steiner began his career in the junior exploration and mining sector in 1980 as an attorney and consultant specializing in environmental and mining law. Mr. Steiner was formerly President, CEO and Director of Idaho Consolidated Minerals Corp. (ICMC). During his tenure at ICMC, Mr. Steiner was involved in the development of over 600,000 oz Au on the Orogrande Shear Zone in Idaho, USA. He was also instrumental in helping Bema Gold obtain the original permitting for the Buffalo Gulch Gold Mine in 1992, prior to the mine being put on care and maintenance. Mr. Steiner took Premium Exploration public in the Spring of 2006 and is a Director of SNS Silver Corp.
Mr. Portillo is a licensed Mineral Surveyor Consultant and has worked in the Mexican mining industry for 25 years as a Landman and Survey Engineer. He has worked with the Mexican Federal Government (Federal Mining Bureau) and has experience in mining, labour employment and property law with additional expertise in topography and surveying techniques. Mr. Portillo has project management experience and has worked with several major mining companies such as Barrick Gold, Glamis Gold and Kimber Resources.
Mr. Komarechka is a professional geologist and certified gemmologist and is currently president of Bedrock Research Corp., a firm which offers consulting services to the mineral exploration industry. Mr. Komarechka has been involved in a wide variety of commodities in his exploration work, including: gold, base metals, platinum group metals, diamonds and industrial minerals. His experience has included property evaluation and selection, supervision of claim staking activities, airborne and ground geophysical programs, geological mapping, geochemical surveys, diamond drill programs, bulk sampling, aboriginal native right studies, mine management, assessment submissions and NI43-101 report submissions.
Mr. Sam Yue began his accounting career with Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) in London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978. He gained valuable experience in international accounting and finance, working in the United Kingdom, Africa and Saudi Arabia. In 1985, he joined the finance industry in Sydney, Australia before moving on to the resource industry, oil and gas and mining. With over 20 years experience in financial and corporate management in Australia, Mr. Sam Yue has held senior financial executive and company secretarial positions with ASX listed companies; New Guinea Energy Ltd, Eastern Star Gas Limited, Sydney Gas Ltd, Minerals Corporation Limited, and Beach Petroleum Limited. He was a non-executive director of Jupiter Mines Limited (2007-2008) and an executive director of Ord River Resources Limited (2007-2009). He is presently a non-executive director of Gas2Grid Limited and provides services to small capitalization companies.
Dr. Xu has over 20 years of experience in Australia and the international mining industry. His experience includes technical and senior management roles with Queensland Mining Corporation, Xstrata, Sparton Resources and Queensland Epithermal Gold. He holds an MSc in Economic Geology from the China University of Geosciences and a PhD from James Cook University in Australia. A geologist with specialist IOCG, Mt Isa Style copper and Carlin gold skills, Dr. Xu has in-depth knowledge of exploration techniques and extensive experience in mineral resources in Australia, China and Papua New Guinea. He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, and a competent person as defined by the 2004 JORC Code.
